HISTORY

Alberta Chinese Canadian Friendship Association (ACCFA) was founded by Maggie Chen on Sep 27, 2009, is a non-profit, non-religious, non-political community based association. Maggie Chen has worked in the multicultural center and family services for years.

As the Chinese idiom goes, "It doesn't matter what continent you're on, the Chinese will always be brothers and sisters to each other." 

 Our Values

Many heads thinking are better than just one. Our society depends on everyone's abilities and wisdom pooled together. With this combined pool of generous people and their abilities, we have the resources to help any individual who may need help.

Our Missions

Alberta Chinese Canadian Friendship Association is to help groups or individuals who may be facing difficulties in issues like with their job, children, community, political issues, or just want to talk about their life in general. This society is also a great place to meet others and make new friends. Our three missions are taking care of our environment, engaging to the community and concerning our generation. 

Our Visions

We envision an encouraging and comprehensive group of people of Chinese origin who will be able to find support, be able to speak out as a group about issues, and find friendship here in Calgary.

簡介:  

亞省華人關懷友善協會創始於 2009 年 9 月在亞伯達省卡 加利市. 陳梅綺是發起人也是第一任會長. 她任職於多元文化中心及家庭服務社會機構多年, 秉持她一貫熱心助人的精神而創立亞省華人友誼協會, 希望藉此拋磚引玉,  聚集有共同志向人士, 一起為促進多元文化交流, 弘揚中華文化及提供慈善協助而努力.

我們的宗旨:

亞省華人關懷友善協會稟承中國人的一句至理名言 –“四海之内皆兄弟”, 團結即是力量, 三個臭皮匠敵過一個諸葛亮, 本協會將群聚大家的智慧及才能, 依據會員的需求調整會議的主題及方式,從多元的生活文化, 工作, 親子, 交友,社區到時事及國事, 包羅萬象, 精采有趣. 歡迎所有有熱誠及愛心的朋友一起來參與這個不分宗教,地區,身份,地位及年齡的不牟利組織.

我們的使命:

內部橋樑: 參與及合作其他加拿大華人社團,幫助並提供有用資訊及課程,建立和協,快樂和積極”共同體”.

外部橋樑: 建立平等互助觀念幫助加拿大華人與主流文化結合,提供我們的需求給有關政府機構.

我們的價值觀:

亞省華人關懷友善協會相信通過聯誼,溝通,輔導及”和諧社會”理念,互相扶持及幫忙,結合我們的力量,使所有加拿大華人都有 - 更好的明天.
